The Cowboys have decided to part ways with RB Joseph Randle. The 2013 draft class keeps looking worse and worse with each passing season, and this marks another miss in that draft class. The talent was there, but the Cowboys ran out of time in regards to Randle’s mental side.

The Cowboys have three running backs currently on the roster now:
- Darren McFadden
- Christine Michael
- Rod Smith
Will the Cowboys break more news before today’s trade deadline? Is this a move that will open the door to a trade for another running back? The Cowboys will weigh their options, and I promise you they have already been working on some contingency plans. I wouldn’t be surprised if they trade for a running back, maybe not someone with huge name recognition, but they could make a play for someone they see as their future workhorse. They’ll look at the potential depth of the running back draft class and potential free agents for 2016 which could spurn a trade.
We’ll see what happens. What do you think of Randle getting cut?
