The Boston Celtics received a bomb threat Saturday during a flight to Oklahoma City for a Sunday game against the Thunder.
The threat forced an emergency landing, according to Scott Sullivan of CBS Boston:

Tim Martin of Fox 25 later reported the team made it to the destination safely:

FBI and police looked into the situation as soon as the plane landed.
Jay King of MassLive.com provided a scary account of the scene:
Someone on the flight described the scene as “nerve-wracking,” “crazy” and “certainly not something you anticipate.” After about 15 or 20 minutes at the fire department, the Celtics were transported safely to the team hotel.
Player Jae Crowder added to the depiction of the situation on social media, captured by Logan Mullen of the Boston Globe:

Police and FBI will continue to look into the matter, though for now it seems the whole thing was a hoax.
Hoax or not, here’s to hoping authorities find the culprits and make an example so this sort of thing doesn’t become the norm.
Boston has a two-game trip on the West coast, facing the Thunder before a date with the San Antonio Spurs.
