NBA sideline legend Craig Sager passed away at the age of 65 on Thursday after battling leukemia for the past few years, and the sports world was filled with sorrow.
Sager spent 34 years working for Turner Sports, and covered many different sporting events during the course of his career. He’s most known for his work as a sideline reporter for “The NBA on TNT,” and that’s why the Warriors honored him with a pregame tribute before their matchup against the Knicks.
Bob Costas paid tribute to Sager before Thursday night’s Rams-Seahawks game, and had some touching things to say about one of the most warm, charismatic sideline reporters the sports world has ever known.

Our thoughts are with Sager’s family at this time. We’ll all miss him on the court.
