In what is becoming a theme unfortunately, Chaz Green will be heading to IR. Green is expected to have season ending back surgery which will officially end his sophomore season.

This is two consecutive seasons where Green has been absent most of the year. Last year he was out from the start, and this year he flashed, but again could not get back to practice. If we’re looking for a Doug Free upgrade it will not be with Chaz Green. Sometimes you can tell when a guy is going to be injury prone, perpetually.
Moving forward, you have to wonder if the Cowboys consider a line shuffle for next season; if so, would Ron Leary still be in the plans?
What if you keep Ron Leary, and move La’ el Collins to RG, and put Zack Martin at RT? Or you could keep Martin at RG and put Collins at RT? It is something to consider. Free is average and the lowest rated lineman from the other starters and it’s not even close.
What is Chaz Green’s fate on this team?
Do you think Chaz Green is the future at RT? #CowboysNation #DallasCowboys
