The homecoming weekend at the Los Angeles Coliseum was one for the books; however, it’s time to come back to reality Rams Fans. Here’s an interesting stat about head coach Jeff Fisher:
Fisher has yet to win a game as a member of the Rams in Week 3 of the regular season. Let’s start a look at the past four-week 3 match ups.
September 23, 2012: Once again the Rams offense was nowhere to be found, as the Bears slowly killed of the time and marched down the field for a couple of touchdowns. It’s never a good thing when Jay Culter looks good.
September 22nd, 2013: A game filled with tons of turnovers for the Rams, the Cowboys would take an early lead and basically run away with it. Bradford only racked up 240 yards because the Rams where throwing non-stop.
September 21st, 2014: Classic Jeff Fisher game. The St. Louis Rams were up 21-0, living life and giving the town of St. Louis a show! However, with an early lead, the Rams decided to slow down play and give the Cowboys a shot. Dallas took the challenge and turned a 21 point deficit into a comeback win to shock St. Louis.
September 27th, 2015: Once again another Jeff Fisher game: The Steelers were without their star QB Ben Roethlisberger, and all the Rams had to do was stop Bell. They did do that, but Nick Foles and the offense somehow managed to trip over an easy win and give the Steelers an early Christmas gift.
Will Jeff Fisher make history and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday for his first Week 3 VICTORY! Comment below…
