The Rams have done something that they have not done since 2006. It’s true the team has started 2-1 for the first time since the year 06. Let’s take a look at the past three games and determine maybe the Rams are here to change for good.
Los Angeles Rams vs San Fransisco 49ers (0-1)
I told multiple people this will be a trap game for the Rams as the amount of fame and attention may get to their heads come Week 1. Well it sure did as the Rams looked to be one of the worst teams I have ever watched in the history of football.
Fans were describing the season “over” and wanted to fire fisher and start the Goff Train. However, they needed to turn the page quickly and that is exactly what they did the following week.
Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks (1-1)
It was the homecoming for the Rams, if they thought all eyes were on them Week 1 against the 49ers, even more eyes were on them and they wanted a win. Credit has to go to the coaching staff for changing this team around in a matter of days.
The team did a 180 in performance, however the offense still lacked performance. The defense was spot on and kept Russell Wilson away from the end zone. The Offense was struggling all game but Keenum made the passes when he had too. A win is a win folks.
Los Angeles Rams vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)
If the Rams wanted to show the world the game against Seattle was for real, and no Jeff Fisher bull crap, they had to win this game. I give the bet lines some doubt here as they gave the Bucs a five point favorite.
I knew from the start the Los Angeles Rams were going to attack the weak secondary of the Bucs, and boy did they do that. Besides the one horrible read that lead to a pick six, Keenum proved he will be the starter for the coming weeks. His QBR has improved along with throwing two touchdowns in the game. Long story short, they finished off the game somehow and got the win they needed.
Now sitting on top of the division, it could be theirs to lose. This matchup against the Cardinals Sunday will be the biggest test yet. Yes the Rams can win on the road, but can they beat a division rival who just got embarrassed in Buffalo the past week?
We have seen three different Rams teams play thus far, with one will show up against the Cards?
