Nelson Spruce caught six passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in the first preseason game for the comeback victory against the Dallas Cowboys.
Pharoh Cooper has seen the field quite a bit in the preseason as he played in multiple packages. He is needed right now as the Rams are trying to pick up the pace in the offense. The chance both these players play Sunday, are extremely high.
In other news: Head coach Jeff Fisher said E.J. Gaines has a great chance and opportunity to start this Sunday against the Cardinals. The Rams need help in the secondary after Bucs QB Jameis Winston threw for over 58 times.
Fisher on E.J. Gaines: “Really good chance this week. He’s feeling good, which is good for the defense.”
