It’s been a couple of days from the start of the NFL Free Agency period, and one young team is already heading in the right direction. That young/passionate team is the Los Angeles Rams who signed Pro Bowl LT Andrew Whitworth and WR Robert Woods.
They also cut and traded other players, who simple did not fit the “Adult hood” in the locker room.
Peter Schrader Senior National Writer For Fox Sports, also joined in on the conversation of the Rams, and said they indeed are winners from free agency. If you want to watch the full video of his explanation CLICK HERE: If not here are the most important parts from it.
Schrader talked about WR Robert Woods who is a tough and respected player, who potentially did not get to shine in Buffalo with the QB mess over there. However with Goff under center, he can become a top WR.
He also mentioned how he is 24 years-old, and fits better for this offense rather than a Garcon or Jeffery. Next, Schrader talked about the biggest improvement of the offensive line. With signing big boy, Pro Bowl, All-Pro LT, Whitworth is going to bring a veteran leadership to the line. Schrader also mentioned with the move of Greg Robinson to the right side, he too, could improve.
However my favorite quotes from this video were the following:
“The Rams got adults in the room, they grew up big time” “They have Sean McVay and Wade Phillips, they have a good team building here”
