The Los Angeles Rams announced Monday night they will be signing former Broncos Cornerback and Special Teams Ace Kayvon Webster. Of course Webster teased Rams fans for days with stories on his snapchats of him in Los Angeles. However one snapchat stood out from the rest.
A reddit user shared this screenshot from Webster’s Snapchat story on Monday afternoon, in which the former QB Peyton Manning can be seen chatting with a couple of Rams officials?
Do you think Peyton Manning is coming out of retirement? Sorry to ruin all the fun but Manning won’t be coming out of retirement. However we all have to agree that the caption of “GOAT” does define Manning.
Manning does not look to be joining the Rams, but looks as if he wanted to swing by to say hello to his former teammate of Wesbter. Manning is also close friends with Rams GM Les Snead and HC Sean McVay, I’m guessing it wasn’t a busy day at Papa Johns on Monday.
Later in the night, Webster also posted a video to his Snapchat story where Manning can be seen dining with Webster and the rest of the Los Angeles Rams coaches.
Once again, there is no information on why Manning was talking with the Rams, but there clearly is zero speculation that Manning will be joining the Rams. He was probably in to talk with his former friend and stop by the place.
Or maybe this is all a lie, and Manning is going to replace Goff next year?…….
