The Los Angeles Rams are looking outside the NFL for their first big body Wide Receiver as they have sent a contract to an AFL Wide Receiver. The Rams are highly interested in bringing some new weapons to Jared Goff, and Nick Truesdell may be the answer.
In the past four years, Truesdell has bounced around multiple NFL and AFL teams as he is trying to find his true calling for one team.
Could that team be the Los Angeles Rams? Here are the teams Nick has played for in recent years : Colorado Ice (2014) Bemidji Axemen (2014) Spokane Shock (2014–2015) Portland Steel (2016) Indianapolis Colts practice squad (2016) Arizona Rattlers (2017) Cleveland Gladiators (2017)
On Wednesday, Truesdell participated in a veteran combine in which he impressed tons of NFL scouts at the combine. According to Damon Talbot of Draft Diamonds.
“I talked to several scouts who said Truesdell straight murdered the veteran combine. He ran a 4.47 at 6’6 and 252 pounds. The teams ran him through drills and that was more than enough. We are learning that by the time he went to the airport, over six teams had already called his agent and began offering contracts”
He received 9 contract offers from the Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans.
The big body WR will be making a decision very soon as this option could be very intriguing for the Los Angeles Rams..
Stay tuned for more news on this AFL WR..
