Kayvon Webster might pursue Peyton Manning to join Rams Front Office

A couple of days ago, Rams Headquarters reported through Chad Forbes of NFLDraftBites that Peyton Manning joining the Los Angeles Rams Front Office is an actually thing that might happen in the upcoming days. Looking back onto this report, it is making even more sense with the help of new Ram Kayvon Webster.

Remember when the Los Angeles Rams signed Webster to a deal and Peyton Manning was spotted at the Rams facility a couple of months ago?

A reddit user shared this screenshot from Webster’s Snapchat story on Monday afternoon, in which the former QB Peyton Manning can be seen chatting with a couple of Rams officials. This was the start of hopeful talks of possible bringing Manning on board as well.

The connection with the Rams Manning has is through his former Bronco teammate Webster who won a Super Bowl with him. They were extremely close friends who may be helping each other find new jobs in the NFL.

The spot where it grows more intriguing is that the Rams envision him taking up a role similar to that of John Elway with the Broncos. Elway is currently Denver’s general manager which could put Les Snead’s standing with the Rams in the spotlight if Manning were to seriously consider joining the organization.

Los Angeles’ reasoning for this potential pursuit is crystal clear with the hope that Manning’s keen knowledge of the game could help build the roster into a competitive team while at the same time helping mold Jared Goff into a franchise quarterback. Although there isn’t major traction with this possibility yet, it’s certainly something that could grow legs.

They still have major kinks to work out but the Rams boast more potential now than they have in years – and one way they can continue that upward trend is by landing the very best people to work in their front office.
