LeBron declares himself ‘King of New York’ in Instagram post

LeBron James just has to get the last word in — no matter the topic.

When James said he was taking the high road in the war of words between him and Enes Kanter, we all knew that wouldn’t last long. Sure enough, it didn’t.

In the wake of Kanter’s comments about not caring if James is the “King, queen or princess,” LeBron took to Instagram on Tuesday and posted this.

Here’s the caption that went along with it:

So James won’t come out and tell the media that he’s the king of New York, but he’ll use the crown emoji in his Instagram feed to do it. Not a big surprise.
