Joel Embiid trolls LaVar Ball on Instagram after win

at Staples Center on November 13, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

Sixers center Joel Embiid was an unstoppable force in Wednesday’s 115-109 win over the Lakers.

Embiid scored a career-high 46 points, hauled in 15 rebounds, dished out seven assists and blocked seven shots in the game — a stat line that showed how complete of a performance he turned in.

And being that he was playing under the bright lights at Staples Center, Embiid couldn’t resist taking to Instagram and trolling LaVar Ball afterward. He posted a photo from the game showing him laying the ball up near the basket — knocking Lonzo Ball down in the process. Ball was the only defender between Embiid and the basket, and he did not win that round.

The location of the post included a veiled shot at Papa Ball, and here’s what it said.

“Lavar, Fars, Iran” it read.

Embiid clarified that the post was not meant to be a shot at Lonzo on Twitter shortly afterward, and said that he “likes” the Lakers guard’s game. He didn’t seem to mention, LaVar, however, so it’s pretty clear who the post was about.

Not only is Embiid already one of the most dominant centers in the league when healthy, but he’s also one of the league’s master trolls.
