The Red Sox are now in even more trouble as they may be down another closer. Koji Uehara was hit in the wrist by a line drive in Friday’s game vs. Detroit. There were X-rays taken after the game but they came back negative after complaints of pain Uehara was sent back to Boston for further treatment.
Pete Abraham has reported that the announcement should be coming at some time today. Not too much else could happen to the Sox now as they just try to finish the season healthy.
Announcement coming, but told the #RedSox will be putting Koji Uehara on the disabled list later today. No word yet on corresponding move.
