It was a dominating win for the Bruins last night in Vancouver as it looked like they were never in the game. The Bruins shutdown the Canucks from the opening puck drop and never looked back. For the Bruins Marchand, Krug, Ferraro, and Randell found their way on the score sheet.
But it is not a trip to Vancouver until there is a cheap shot. The bad blood is still flowing between these two teams, as this time Brandon Prust speared Brad Marchand in the groin. This came with 2 minutes left in the game and Marchand was alright just very slow to get up.
There was no penalty on the play as no referee saw it happen but it is very clear it did happen. Prust will be getting a nice call from Stephane Quintal regarding a suspension and possibly a fine. There is no way around this you can saw this happened on accident it was blatantly clear he skated over to Marchand and speared him.
