After a three game losing streak, the C’s are hoping to return to normal with a win at home vs. the T’Wolves.
The Wolves have some of the best pure athletes in the NBA (Wiggins, LaVine, Dieng etc.) Mix that with rookie C Karl Anthony-Towns(Kevin Garnett will not play, reports say), you have a well put together lineup. Although they have a 11-16 record, the Wolves are better than what there record shows. It will be closer than you think but the C’s have too much versatility and a deep bench to outlast the Wolves tonight.
Here are the next couple games in advance:
Wednesday Dec 23- @ Charlotte
Last time we played the Hornets, Isaiah Thomas torched the Hornets with his shooting and sent the Hornets a defeat. This was a unbelievable win after dealing with Curry and company the day before. This should be another win given that they are given a day in between.
Saturday Dec 26- @ Detroit
Detroit was a win for the C’s last time but they couldn’t pull through as the Pistons dropped 119 points on the C’s. This time around will be different though. The return of Marcus Smart is lurking closer and closer so beware of the return Detroit (or Charlotte). Again as always, stop Andre Drummond from rebounding and scoring along with potential All- Star G Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Sunday Dec 27 vs Knicks
Well Well Well… Welcome to Beantown Kristaps Porzingis! The Knicks were the most criticized in my opinion this year for who they drafted but the outcome was exactly what they needed. A tall F/C who can shoot, rebound, block, and win games. That is Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis is averaging 13 points, 8 boards and 2 blocks a game but his talent can reach far beyond that. Take out Porzingis and you will win the ball game.
