The Patriots have already clinched up the AFC East and a first-round bye but there is still something to play for on Sunday. The Patriots will be taking the trip down South to take on the Dolphins but it is not a throw away game for the Pats as they as still playing for home field throughout the AFC Playoffs.
To clinch home field throughout the AFC Playoffs it is simple. The Patriots can either win or tie in Miami. With a loss to the Dolphins the Pats still have a chance they will just need Denver to lose or tie to the Chargers on Sunday afternoon.
Hopefully the Patriots can just keep it simple win in Miami and let us all enjoy the rest of our Sunday. The last thing we want is to rely on the Chargers to win.
