If you could not tell all of New England has been on a week-long Super Bowl high as the Patriots completed their drive for five Sunday night. But it seems past fans have been buying a crazy amount of Super Bowl apparel. Even more appeal than two years ago when they played and beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
Yesterday a sales report from Fanatics was released saying that:
- To date, the Patriots have outsold their most recent title in 2014 by more than 130 percent.
- The Patriots sold as much team gear in the first two hours after Super Bowl LI as they did in the first 24 hours following their 2014 Super Bowl title.
- The Patriots sold as much team gear in the first 12 hours after Super Bowl LI as they did in the first seven days following their 2014 Super Bowl title.
- The Patriots have already sold more championship gear than the first 30 days following their 2014 Super Bowl title.
Patriots fans seem to be living it up as of late and really spending money on Super Bowl LI gear. With lines at Patriot’s Place on Monday being well over an hour long there really is no surprise that they are selling a record amount. But really, who does not want championship gear from the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history?
