Brad Marchand’s Third Period Hat Trick Leads The Bruins To 6-3 Win Over Vancouver

The crazy Canucks entered the third period of play with a 3-2 lead over the Bruins. That lead would not last for long as Bruins Forward Brad Marchand scored a power play goal just 58 seconds into the third period to tie the game 3-3.

For Marchand’s second goal he stole the puck from Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin, stepped past Daniel Sedin and then deked through the legs of Alexander Edler before beating Canucks goalie Ryan Miller for a highlight real goal.

Marchand capped off the hat trick with an empty-net goal. You can see all the goals below!

Marchand got the Boston PK Subban treatment in Vancouver as every time he touched the puck he was booed and it was loud. But was that a smart move by the Vancouver fans? Marchand thinks not. “That’s kind of when I get into it more and not a good idea for them.”

Bruins interim coach Bruce Cassidy seemed impressed with Marchand and last night’s W saying “This is a leader of our hockey team that knows the urgency of where we are in the season, He’s pulled some guys along.”

The Bruins quest for the playoff continues Wednesday as they travel to Calgary to play the Flames on Wednesday night.
