As Boston College is racking up the incoming recruits of 2018 (so far they have collected 18 recruits in the 2018 class), one in particular stands out with the last name.
A 6’3 ish 255 pound offensive lineman by the name Tyler Vrabel, yes that is the son of former New England linebacker Mike Vrabel, Patriots legend of course, has committed to Boston College just a short while ago. Although commits are not definite and are always reopened by players exploring other opportunities, by the sounds of Vrabel, he’ll be sticking around the Chestnut Hill campus for a while.
A 3 star offensive lineman that hails from Houston Texas (St. Pious X), it should be interesting how Vrabel plays in the Boston College system. Some of the best offensive lineman come from BC, as the long tradition of building strong lines is key in giving the quarterback time to make plays while depending on the big guys upfront to do the job correctly.
Congratulations to the Vrabel family for the recent commit by Tyler Vrabel, and we are excited to see him get minutes when his time comes.
