Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was embarrassed by Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake in the final play of last Sunday’s game, and it really wasn’t a good look for him.

All the slowfooted Gronk had to do was stay in his lane and force Drake out of bounds, as he had took off down the sideline, by playing the correct angle. But he was slow to diagnose the play, and he ended up slipping as he began pursuit, which allowed Drake to run by him for the improbable walk-off touchdown on the hook-and-ladder play (watch here).

Still, Gronk’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit model girlfriend Camille Kostek defended him in speaking to TMZ Sports recently. Not only that, she essentially advocated for head coach Bill Belichick to play him on defense more.

“I don’t play football, I don’t make the rules — I support whatever he does. So if he needs to be put at defense again, I say, ‘Go for it, baby!'”
