The Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing to square off against the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field in Week 17, and one particular defensive coach is apparently preparing for a player that isn’t even available for the contest.
Defensive coordinator Kevin Butler pulled a Stephen A. Smith at his press conference, when he was breaking the game down, and it was pretty funny. Butler began praising Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert — the problem is that he’s been on injured reserve since September.
Keith Butler says Tyler Eifert will be a problem for the Steelers to cover Sunday.

Eifert himself poked some fun at Butler for it, even.
Hey I am ahead of schedule! Glad the @steelers are still thinking about me tho 🤷♂️ https://t.co/6rokqU6MkW

And Twitter roasted him.

Trivago ad on TV. I don't know if the guy likes football, but he likes using the internet and could find out in a minute that Eifert, Green and Dalton are out for the Bengals.
Not convinced Keith Butler could do the same.
Saddest part? Eifert was out the last damn time you met.

Keith Butler's gotta go.

No word on if Keith Butler mentioned how tough it might be to stop Boomer Esiason this Sunday.

Welp, that was awkward.
