The animosity between Cowboys receiver Amari Cooper and Rams cornerback Marcus Peters didn’t subside when the final whistle sounded at the end of Saturday’s Divisional Round game.
In fact, quite the opposite happened, as the two nearly came to blows in the handshake line.
Cooper and Peters were seen getting into it on the field a number of times during the game, including one particular skirmish in the first quarter, which resulted in the Rams cornerback getting hit with a penalty.
The two had a heated confrontation after the game was over as well, resulting in them getting separated by teammates. Each player managed to get their hand in their opponent’s face, although the difference was that Cooper was still wearing his helmet.

The two appeared as if they were ready to square off on the field, but their teammates made sure that didn’t happen.
