Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes dazzled in the AFC title game last Sunday, and if it weren’t for the team’s poor display on defense, he’d be playing in the Super Bowl.
Instead of Atlanta, Mahomes was forced to settle for Florida, as he suited up to play in the Pro Bowl, which is pretty crazy, given that it was just one week after he had played in the conference championship, so he had limited time to prepare.
You’d never know it, though, as he completed 7-of-14 passes for 156 yards, and was named co-MVP in the game. Our favorite throw fell incomplete, but it was still fun to watch. Mahomes casually tossed a no-look pass, intended for JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was coming open over the middle. Unfortunately, they weren’t really on the same page, and the pass sailed off JuJu’s hands.
Mahomes goes for the no-look 😂
