Why these bowl games are played after New Year’s I really don’t know, but whatever the reason, we’ll see the Sun Belt champ and the MAC champ face off in a game that doesn’t feature any great NFL Draft prospects.
Middle Tennessee State has an athletic quarterback who’ll need to make a position change, while the Miami (OH) offense is lead by a young quarterback and his best weapon a senior receiver. Overall, it’s not great talent, but, there are a few prospects, enough to take a look, so here is a breakdown of the best next level talents in the game tonight.

Dwight Dasher, QB/ATH, Middle Tennessee State
An outstanding athlete, being suspended to start the regular season really hurt Dasher’s ability to hit the ground running in his senior season and probably hurt his draft prospects as well. He’s a great athlete and is tough to defend in the open field, and will have to show that he can transition to receiver if he wants to make the NFL.
Jeremy Kellem, S, Middle Tennessee State
An instinctive safety who has impacted how opposing quarterbacks attack this defense, Kellem will get a chance to showcase his ball skills and play-reading skills against a young quarterback in Zac Dysert. Kellem is a fringe NFL draft prospect, but can improve his stock as the only bowl game of the night.
Armand Robinson, WR, Miami (OH)
This Miami (OH) offense has been up and down this season thanks to the quarterback play, but when it’s clicking, Armand Robinson has been the key factor in this offense in the passing game. Robinson has good size and while he doesn’t have gamebreaking speed or great moves in the open field, he’s a reliable target, gets open well, and can be productive someplace at the next level.
