In the long talked about Kraft Fight Hunter Bowl, we’ll finally get our final chance to watch three prospects that could really rise as we lead up to the draft.
One is one of the most prolific quarterbacks in college football, especially as a dual threat player. And two more are on Boston College’s roster, both as tough, high character guys who can be starters day one in the NFL and eventually turn into Pro Bowlers.
Nevada has the star power on offense, but the Boston College defense and running back is well-rounded enough to make this a very competitive game.

Anthony Constanzo, OT, Boston College
He’s been one of the few staples of this offense that has struggled to consistently put up decent passing numbers. Constanzo is likely going to take advantage of an average offensive tackle crop this year, and even though he’s likely a right tackle in NFL, he still may be a solid first rounder. He’ll need to protect against this attacking Nevada defense, and he can showcase his sliding technique and maybe show me or someone the ability to play left tackle.
Mark Herzlich, OLB, Boston College
His story is well known of his outstanding sophomore season, then missing the junior season to recover from cancer, and now back playing the sport he loves. Herzlich has been recovering all season long on the field, and by year’s end was close to if not right at his previous dominating ways. He should be back to full strength in this one, and could be a headache for both the running and passing game for this productive Nevada offense.
Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada
An outstanding athlete that has been the favorite sleeper quarterback of many, Kaepernick is an outstanding and one of the most productive college football quarterbacks ever. However, when it comes to the NFL, he’s far from a finished product, and will a lot of work to transition to a drop back quarterback. He should showcase his quickness and arm strength in this one, which should wow scouts and fans once more before he begins the draft process.
Dontay Moch, OLB, Nevada
A guy who’s played very well this year as a pass rusher, Moch is a great fit for an NFL 3-4 defense as an outside linebacker. He’s quick off the edge, uses good leverage, dips his shoulders well, and can move fluidly in space. He isn’t the biggest pass rusher or the best tackler, but he has the skills to work with and will have a chance to take advantage of the poor Boston College quarterback play.
