After addressing needs on the defensive line and pass rusher in signing Paul Kruger, Desmond Bryant and Quinton Groves, could a boost in the secondary be next for the Cleveland Browns?

Brent Grimes Atlanta Falcons v Kansas City JxWmsVtVioKl According to NBC Pro Football Talk, free agent Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes, formerly of the Atlanta Falcons, paid the Browns a free-agent visit.

Due to their lack of a quality cornerback opposite starter Joe Haden, Grimes may have a potential new address in Cleveland.

With Sheldon Brown not expected to be re-signed, Grimes could fill a huge void in the Cleveland secondary and give the beleaguered Browns secondary a major upgrade.

Grimes, 29, tore his Achilles tendon in Week One and would miss the rest of the 2012-13 season for the Falcons.

A former standout out of Shippensburg (PA), the 5’10, 181 pound Grimes is wide regarded as the top cornerback on the free agent market, per NFL Network(not named Darrelle Revis)

Known as a defensive back with a nose for the ball, Grimes has 13 interceptions, one forced fumble and 254 combined tackles in his six year career.
