Happy Patriots Day Boston! With most Boston Offices and Schools closed all eyes will be focused on the 121st Boston Marathon that starts in Hopkinton and ends on Boylston street in downtown Boston. The Boston Marathon is a tradition like none other with over 30,000 runners from all over the world. So get ready for a full day of family fun that starts with a Red Sox game and will end with a Bruins playoff game. Below is is the event schedule and other information about the marathon.
Where to watch: You can watch the 121st Boston Marathon on WBZ TV all day long as they will be live covering the event from start to finish. You can also stream it online at NBC Sports Live Extra or on the BAA (Boston Athletic Association) website.
Weather: We are looking at a nice day at the Marathon as no rain is expected and the weather should be in the high 60’s.

9:17: Men’s push rim wheelchair
9:19: Women’s push rim wheelchair
9:22: Handcycles
9:32: Elite women
10:00: Elite men and Wave 1
10:25: Wave 2
10:50: Wave 3
11:15: Wave 4
Last year’s winners: Both of last year’s winners for the Men and Women will both be running as Atsede Baysa will try to defend her women’s title and Lemi Berhanu Hayle will try to defend his men’s title.
