Washington Redskins

Traded for S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in exchange for 2019 4th Rd Pick

The Washington Redskins made the final deal of the 2019 NFL Season by sending a fourth-rounder to the Green Bay Packers for Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Surprisingly, the Washington Redskins sit on top of the NFC East, and all of a sudden they are trying to make a run.

In Green Bay, Clinton-Dix was one of the more reliable players in a secondary that hasn’t been good in quite some time. Nothing lasts forever, though, and everybody knew that he wanted out. The Redskins didn’t hesitate to make a move, and their secondary improves significantly.

Now, Clinton-Dix will play on the opposite side of D.J. Swearinger. Washington’s defense as a whole has been underperforming this year a bit, but Swearinger doesn’t fall into that category personally. Clinton-Dix wasn’t expensive, and he comes to Washington with great value.
