Jared Goff, Number one pick in the Draft by the Rams hasn’t seen the field in a regular season game, the Rams haven’t had a strong season, but they managed to win a few games without the flare, but the offense needs more of a spark to contend for any playoff chances.

Case Keenum is losing command of the offense.

The limited talent on the Rams offensive has proved to be too much of a weight for Keenum to handle. Playing like a poor man’s Brian Hoyer, only completing 61 percent of passes and threw 11 interceptions and only 9 touchdowns.

Granted he does have a decent QB rating of 76.8 percent but the Rams don’t need decent they need some above average .

The Rams need a star.

Todd Gurley was projected to be the Star of the team but Jeff Fisher hasn’t built the offense around him so it has hurt Gurley’s value.

Every team needs a star, that potential threat that can be a game changer. Granted, Goff didn’t really shine in the preseason, but that was due to conservative play calling. Throughout his college career he was a playmaker  and could factor in Sundays game.

Success is contagious.

The Rams have a lot more problems than at QB, but if he can even find the tiniest of light in the offense it can carry over.

A revived Kenny Britt should help become a deep threat for the young QB. Plus the fact the Dolphins are going to pressure Goff any way they can will open up opportunities for Gurley.

Jared Goff is their future quarter back.

The NFL has had their share of stars go down in flames. In the Rams many argue that they can’t get any worse.

Goff has seen his share of struggles at Cal Berkeley, his ability to overcome adversity made him into a top recruit. He has the ability to stretch the field and open up plays Keenum could not. He possesses the talent and intellect to become a 5-tool quarterback.

L.A. loves him already.

Countless fans have pushed for a start by the rookie and it is finally happening. Clearly, Jeff Fisher doest care to please the fans but over 80,000 Ram fans are going to be pleased.
