Ranked first is the woman who was ranked No. 1 for most of 2023, four-time Grand Slam Champion Iga Swiatek, with 15.6 million searches.

The third and ninth-ranked athletes were sidelined for the majority of 2023.
They are 2021 US Open Champion Emma Radacanu in third with 9.6 million searches, and four-time Grand Slam Champion Naomi Osaka on maternity leave in 2023, was ranked ninth with 5.4 million searches.

10th on the list is American tennis player Jessica Pegula with 4.3 million searches.
Pegula is consistently ranked among the WTA’s five top players in the world.
Surprisingly absent from the list is the current World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka.

The Gymnastics GOAT Also Made The List
In addition to five tennis players, World and Olympic gymnastics champion Simone Biles came in seventh with 6.3 million searches.
Biles had a whirlwind year that included two wedding ceremonies with Jonathan Owens and a return to competitive gymnastics.
