Aaron Hernandez : Could QB Tim Tebow See Time At Tight End?

Week17k

Thanks to the current legal troubles of Aaron Hernandez and injuries to Rob Gronkowski, newly arrived quarterback Tim Tebow may see time as tight end.

While many would choose to describe his body of work under center as shoddy, erratic and raw, at 6’3 and 236 pounds has the physical makeup and stature to flex out and play some tight end.

The thought of one player being used in different positions is not out of the ordinary for head coach Bill Belichick, who used wide receiver Troy Brown as cornerback and linebacker Mike Vrabel as a h-back out of the backfield in the past.

Thanks to a suddenly depleted depth chart that now has the likes of Jake Ballard, Daniel Fells and Michael Hoomanawanui, Tebow at tight end/h-back suddenly becomes a much more practical and realistic option.

Tom Brady vs. Tebow may sound intriguing to some, but with the uncertainly of Gronkowski’s recovery from surgery and Hernandez’s off-the-field legal drama, Brady-to-Tebow may not roll off the tongue so easily, but it may have to do for now in Foxborough.
