The Cubs jumped out to a 5-0 lead en route to victory in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, but Adrian Gonzalez believes that he scored the first run of the game.
In what was a controversial ruling, Gonzalez was thrown out at home in the bottom of the second inning after Andrew Toles came through with a single to right.
Gonzalez was ruled out, but the play was challenged. It was not overturned. This sparked conspiracy theories from Dodgers fans, which was ridiculous. And Gonzalez even joined in the talk, tweeting this after the 10-2 loss.
Somehow this is an out. #NLCS Takeseries lead tomorrow! Got to do this. Us against the world. pic.twitter.com/DAM8BRytrT

Yes, clearly the world has it out for the Dodgers, and that’s why they lost 10-2. But hey, if A-Gon was ruled safe, it could’ve been 10-3!
There wasn’t enough evidence to overturn that call anyway, so Gonzalez should just accept the loss and get ready for Game 5.
