Soccer has been my passion since I first started going to practice with my ball and water bottle when I was very young. I’ve always been a huge sports fan and began writing Houston Sports and More in March of 2010 so that I would be able to give my opinions on sports to more people. I have helped write at other Bloguin sites (Rockets Retro, GuysGirl) and one day had the idea to launch an MLS site with the help of Bloguin. I wanted something different and reached out to fans of all MLS teams to be our writers. If each of us can show our passion and love of soccer and help grow the beautiful game then we will have accomplished something.
Besides being the one who started this site I will also write about my hometown Houston Dynamo. I have been a Dynamo fan since they moved here and began playing in MLS in 2006. We won the MLS Cup in our first two years and I was at the store the next morning buying the championship t-shirt. I’ve been to Pizza Hut Park and watched our Dynamo tie FC Frisco and can’t wait till our new stadium opens in downtown Houston next April.
