Jon Hilliman is a special running back for the BC Eagles. Hilliman is 6’0 and 224 pounds of muscle and a bulldozer. Hilliman along with 68 other running backs in college football, were selected among the contenders for the Doak Walker Award which is given to the best running back in the nation. Among them are Nick Chubb of Georgia who absolutely lit up the spotlight after Todd Gurley’s injury which was a major setback but Chubb can have a better breakout season since it’s his to lose. James Conner of Pittsburgh is another highly rated running back with fullback size at running back speed. One of the favorites is Samaje Perine of Oklahoma who set the record for most rushing yards in one game which was 427 yards. I can go on and on about these specially gifted running backs. Jon Hilliman provides BC with a reliable 3 down back when healthy and can be a force at the goal line. Hilliman is a perfect compliment to speedy wide receiver Sherman Alston who you may remember pulled off the triple reverse run against USC. Congrats Jon Hilliman!
