BCS Standings Report: Florida State Seminoles leap over Alabama

There was a major shift in the BCS Standings. Florida State jumped Alabama this week. The Buckeyes defeated the Michigan Wolverines 42-41. The Alabama Crimson Tide lost to the Auburn Tigers 34-28.

This opens the door for the Buckeyes and Seminoles to face off in the BCS National Championship.

BCS Bowl Projections

Vizio BCS National Championship- January 6th, 8:30 P.M. E.S.T. – Pasadena, California

Florida State Seminoles vs. Ohio State Buckeyes– Two undefeated teams will face off in the National Championship game. These two teams have impressive firepower on offense.  The battles between Jameis Winston and Braxton Miller as well as James Wilder Jr. and Carlos Hyde will be very interesting.

Discover Orange Bowl- January 3rd, 8:30 P.M. E.S.T. – Miami, Florida

Clemson Tigers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide– Clemson is still in contention for a BCS Bowl. Alabama will land here after the loss to Auburn.

Allstate Sugar Bowl- January 2nd 8:30 P.M. E.S.T. – New Orleans, Louisiana

Auburn Tigers vs.. UCF Knights– Auburn’s victory over Alabama secures their spot in the BCS. They won’t advance to the National Championship due to Ohio State remaining undefeated. UCF has been a real surprise this year and will be rewarded for their efforts.

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl- January 1st, 8:30 P.M. E.S.T. – Glendale, Arizona

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Northern Illinois Huskies- The Cowboys know how to put up plenty of points. The Northern Illinois Huskies will finish undefeated and the MC Champions will land here.

Rose Bowl- January 1st, 5:00 P.M. E.S.T. – Pasadena, California

Michigan State Spartans vs. Stanford Cardinal– The Spartans will fall to the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship. They will face the tough Stanford Cardinal offense.
