Chris Fallica a cameraman for espn @chrisfallica proved himself to be more a Gruber™ * Fan then someone who actually does analysis. While a week earlier he may have predicted V-Techs win over a very suspect Duke team when he ventured out on the limb to say Wyoming would upset Boise State he confirmed a long held suspicion about many who hate on Boise State and that they just don’t do the work to investigate the Boise State team.

True four weeks ago I said this game in Laramie looked like a trap game to me that was when only half of the Cowboys starters were out for the season and before the New Mexico game. Boise State also proved over the previous two weeks they could play in any kind of weather removing all mystic of Laramie from the equation. True Wyoming had a late season bye week coming into this game but that did nothing to help prepare for the defensive, offensive and special teams Juggernaut that Boise State brought to Laramie. 558 yards of total offense 246 passing on 13 of 19 attempts, 312 yards rushing on 49 carried for a 6.4 average. On the defensives side Boise State held the supposed power running of Wyoming to 80 yards 2.1 yards per carry passing 147 yards on 16 of 29 for a 5.1 yard average. A pick six by Darian Thomas followed by a Donte Deayon punt return for 75 yards for a TD didn’t seal the deal it cemented it. Jay Ajayi had his typical game catching balls out of the backfield and running after first contact. Grant Hedrick managed the game well and continues to show that he is a firm hand of Boise States offense. Just when Bronco Nation thought they had seen the return to the Boise State offense of old, Stanford and company unleashed plays that frankly left us in amazement and frankly I don’t even know who to explain what we saw. Sure the Statue of Liberty play to Jay for a TD we all know how that one works but there was a couple plays I not only didn’t know who had the ball nor where it was going but I wasn’t sure I even knew who the players on the field were. This six game winning streak we are on has been done with a barrage of plays in ever circumstance down distance early late up or down in the score. The play book is so large so diverse the work load for the season finally against Utah State for USU DC is such by the time we get to kick off next Saturday in Boise he will be a total train wrench bags under his eyes, distraught from not bathing and sleeping regularly. And it won’t end there.

While none of us want to jump ahead to the MW Championship game let alone a New Year’s bowl. I believe it’s fair to say by 8:15 pm local in Boise, Albertson stadium will be rocking the players will be peaking with confidence and pure desire that will not be denied. While Utah State has shown a quality defense all season along with an ability to win even with a third string QB all signs of very good coaching there is one thing standing in Utah’s way and that is the shear will to win this team has displayed over the last 6 games a will on the road a will when on the ropes a will rarely displayed by any team let alone a team coming off it’s worst season in over a decade losing it’s Coach of high praise and starting anew after a horrible end to last season. This group of young men have come a long way since that bowl game against Oregon State. They have been to the bottom they have seen the face of despair and they want no part of pity and excuses they will not be denied.
