It’s funny what a year and a half of Deflategate will do to your reputation. Just today The Sporting News released it’s 40 most hated NFL players list.
The top 10 went just like this
- Michael Vick (no surprise)
- Terrell Ownes
- Nsamukong Sue
- Greg Hardy
- Tom Brady (they hate us cuz they ain’t us)
- Ray Lewis
- Bill Romanowski
- Ben Roethlisberger
- Adam “Pacman” Jones
- Adrian Peterson
Well I knew nobody liked Tom Brady but I did not know it was this bad. There are many more players I think who should be in the top 10 or higher in the top 10.
I’ll even say this that Aaron Hernandez killed a person and he should probably be on this list. But they did say they wanted to narrow its focus to those players who were hated while they were on the field so I guess will get a free pass on this one.
I think that should cause more hate than winning and being part of an investigation about slightly under inflated footballs that can’t be proven. Brady was not the Patriot mentioned on the list as Rodney Harrison was 37 and Gronk at 38.
