Bronco Nation this is a Message to you.

First a couple of prideful comments, I so very proud that from every corner of Bronco Nation there has been no excuses, no comments or remarks about all the injuries the team was suffering before kick off, no crying about playing true freshmen or even finishing the game with a walk on who started the year at fifth string and because of injury found himself the go to guy late in the fourth quarter. I must admit I too would of done the same thing that lead to the late 4^th qt turn over, while my son was screaming for a trick play and passing attempts I personally like Drew Wright and believed he could power through to run out the clock, it was a classic power runner leading with his shoulder into a power linebacker who just got lower and put his hit right on the ball, no one was going to hold on with all forces at play on the ball it was going to come lose. I’m certainly not going to second guess a coach who has won 2 BCS bowls, gone undefeated twice in just 5 years let alone only losing 5 times and just suffered his first home loss ever, on taking the ball out of Kellen Moore hands on the last drive and kicking the field goal. Clearly Coach Pete saw this as his best opportunity to win and that’s something he’s done a lot of winning.

I understand why Bronco Nation doesn’t make excuses; it’s one of most criticized fan bases in the world, always being told they don’t belong, always being told they don’t play anyone. They understand where the criticism is coming from; how many times have we herd” sure healthy and with time to prepare they can play with anyone, but give them an SEC schedule week in week out???” Over and over, now we like to retort yeah but you don’t hang the you must win every game to make a BCS anchor around any of the SEC teams neck , we all seen V-Tech a team we beat so bad they couldn’t play a DII school at home the following week play in a BCS game last January

So my point is not to make excuses nor debate what might of or could have been in Saturdays TCU game because each side of those arguments has a counter and in the end you have to go with what got and we have quit a lot at Boise State and certainly have one of the best coaches in the game and possibly over time one of the best ever. No my point is to point out the weak spots and how you as a member of Bronco Nation can help fill in those weak spots.

Our week spot isn’t our coach, nor the heart of the young men playing the game, but it is our stadium, our work out facilities academic opportunities. Now don’t go get all defensive on me Bronco Nation we all know this to be true, we also know this problem hurts us on recruiting, take the young man who’s off to Stanford after his mission an Idaho boy none the less, look at all those 4 and 5 star recruits that have us listed as medium interest that still haven’t committed anywhere but have offers from everywhere.

This is where Bronco Nation can help this is where you can make a difference on the team. Boise State University is well aware of their fixes and has put repairs on the table, some need your financial help others need your political help some just need your precipitation.

So as not to be all talk and no action here is what I intend to do. Below are to links to sites dedicated to the Athletic department with a goal to raise $250.000 I will send 50% of all revenue this site generates in care of the sites visitors to the below fund raiser.

So even if you don’t have the money to donate you can just by reading and posting here contribute to helping make Boise State Football better, in this way not only can you read about and talk about Bronco Football and all things around the Blue Turf but just by doing so you can help fund the project. As well if you see a link about something you are considering buying or service you might use this also will help fund the project.

We are all in this together and we all want to make Boise State better I cannot think of a better way in doing so then talking about Boise State.
