To get the full effect of this story below is some mood setting music.

We are all here today too mourn the loss of our beloved Boston Bruins. Whose season came to tragic end on Saturday afternoon. This loss came way too early as we all were expecting a playoff run but unfortunately it was not obtained. It may have not been the best year for the Boston Bruins but yet under new management it could have been worse. We had some questionable moves up in the front office by bringing in players such as John-Michael Liles and Lee Stempniak but we managed to adapt and make the best of every situation that came towards us.

We were also given the great opportunity to play in the Winter Classic vs. the Canadians which was probably the biggest let down of the whole year. Everyone wanted this game to happen for years and it finally does and the Bruins laid an egg instead of playing the game where are all use to. But it was through those bad times that made us a stronger of a fan base; you got to see the real fans of the team.

But we also can’t forget the good times we had with this team this year as we got to see some entertaining games not a lot but definitely some. We also saw career years by Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron. Both Marchand and Bergeron played great but yet it was not enough to push the Bruins into the playoffs. Bergeron would finish the year with 32 goals and 36 assist well Marchand had 37 goals and 24 assist. We even got  to see a good year out of Loui Eriksson he is still over paid but managed to put together a decent season and I am proud of that.

This season was the definition of a roller-coaster season as the Bruins would get everyone hopes up by going on a winning streak just to have the Bruins lay another egg and lose 6 straight. We were at the top of the division and we were at the bottom of the division and we finished right in the middle of the pack which unfortunately does not come with a trip to the playoffs.

The 2015-2016 seasons may be over but it will definitely not be forgotten. We will see what the future holds for this team and what team we will have to play with next season.
