Bruins Finally Come To Terms With David Pastrnak Contract Worth $40 Million

The Bruins played hard ball and they won the negotiation as Daivd Pastrnak has signed with the Bruins. The contract is reportedly worth $40 million over 6 years, that works out $6.6 million a year.

Pastrnak is coming off a career season where he had 34 goals and 36 assists in 75 games and was a massive impact on the Bruins. It was rumored that the Pastrnak wanted a contract worth 8 years and $64 million.

Pastrnak was a restricted free-agent at the end of last season. The 21-year old stayed at his home in the Czech Republic until a deal was reached. Pastrnak will now be coming back to Boston and joining the team as training camp has already started.

he Bruins are scheduled to kick off the preseason on Monday against Montreal. No word if Pastrnak will play or not.
