The Bruins announced today they will continue the yearly tradition of hosting a Military Appreciation Night. The game will take place on Thursday, November 10th when the Columbus Blue Jackets come to town.
To show their support of the armed forces Noel Acciari, David Backes, Jimmy Hayes, Torey Krug, John Michael Liles, Kevan Miller and Frank Vatrano will each purchase $2,500 worth of tickets and donate them to local military members and their families.
The Bruins will also bring back the camo warm-up jersey and will use American flag and Canadian flag stick tape during the game. The National Anthem will be performed by rock musician, and Lowell, MA native, Gary Hoey.
Season ticket holder who wants to donate their tickets are able to by logging into their ticket accounts and clicking “Donate tickets to Charity.”
