The Bruins played an Eastern Conference Contender Monday night. They played their first matinee game of the season on Columbus Day. The Bruins had some signs of hope in a 6-3. The Bruins got their Captain back as Chara returned for injury. He played alright, however the defense as a whole was awful. The offense showed signs of life as they played well on the power play and did not let Tampa dominate the neutral zone. Loui Eriksson was the highlight of the night scoring two goals. Tuukka Rask played alright in net with no help from the defense. Overall the Bruins played well and held some ground against a power in the Eastern conference. The Bruins drop to 0-3 and are pointless three games through the season. The Bruins are going onto a mini west road trip facing the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday night at 10:00 pm.
