At the moment, the Los Angeles Rams have made it clear they are moving away from Greg Robinson and changing up the offensive line for good. Last season, it was a disaster to watch, as much as it was to see Todd Gurley gain one yard on every play. With the new signing of LT Andrew Whitworth, it’s time to add one more lineman to beef up the line for good.
Currently the Rams have an unexperienced center listed on the depth chart, but adding Nick Mangold will complete the Rams line. The Left side would be dominated with Whitworth, Saffold, and Mangold.
Let me introduce: Nick Mangold
In the 2015 season, the Rams had the fewest sacks allowed as rookie Todd Gurley broke free in the NFL with record-breaking numbers. However the following year, the Rams offensive line collapsed. Greg Robinson continued to disappoint thousands as injuries slowly hit the line.
Speaking of injuries (Knock on wood) Mangold had only missed four regular season games in 10 season, which is incredible for any offensive lineman.
Mangold is a 7x Pro Bowler who has spent his entire career with the New York Jets, but has yet to be consistent with any QB play or winning in general. Mangold is worth any risk for the Rams right now.
Mangold who would be a solid center for the Rams. He used to be one of the leagues best, but having another veteran on the line who still has plenty of skill and agility left will give the Rams plenty of time in the pocket. Mangold it’s time to take a visit to Los Angeles…
Los Angeles Rams, it’s time to renew the history. It’s time to recapture the NFC West.
