The Celtics now find themselves in a big hole. They are down in the series 3-2 with a home game Thursday night. Isaiah Thomas has a sprained ankle. Even if he is able to play his style of play and impact on the game will be significantly slowed down. Brad Stevens is handling this team very well right now. The rotation has looked good, after the Bradley injury, the team has handled minutes receiving key contributions from Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart among others. Smart has hit big shots as he did in college out of Oklahoma State, and his role on the team has been crucial all year. Under the boards, the offensive rebounding has been great.
They need to stop playing soft on the defensive end, get scrappy, in your face, and get somebody to stop Millsap underneath. Teague is a great point guard and will find his shots and will hit them. The rest of the guards score off of the inside out game through Millsap and Teague moving the ball around. They hit their outside which drives their offense through Kyle Korver.
The Celtics play great on their home floor and I expect nothing less than a win in game 6, as the home team has won every game in this series. Game 7 in Atlanta could be a lot different, but I don’t count the Celtics out by any means. They just need to keep rolling on like they have been, and were in the begenning of the season. They are back on their heels and have to win out to continue their season. Everything must go to plan and then some for Stevens and the C’s.
