It was a hail marry shot tonight for the Celtics down their best player Isiah Thomas and down in the series 2 game to 0. But they somehow squeaked out a 111-108 win over the Cavilers in game 3 of the Easter Conference Championship. The Celtics overcame a 21-point deficit in the second half to deliver the Cavaliers their first loss of the postseason.
It all started with Jonas Jerebko who hit a jumper with 30.3 seconds left giving the Celtics a 108-106 lead. Cleveland would then take the ball and give it to Deron Williams who found Irving to tie the game with 10.7 seconds remaining. This would set up the clutch game-winning by Avery Bradley with just 0.1 seconds to go in regulation as seen below.

With the absence of Isiah Thomas, Marcus Smart stepped it up player one of his best games of the season finishing with 27 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. Well, Bradley lead the team playing 42 minutes, scoring 20 points with 4 assist.
Kevin Love continues to tear up the Celtics defense as they still have not found a way to stop him yet finishing the game with 28 points and 10 rebounds. They might not have been able to stop Love but they did stop Lebron James who only scored 11 points and had 6 turnovers. That’s right, that means 5 players on the Celtics scored more than James tonight.
With this win, the series will go at least 5 games which means there will be another game in Boston but before coming home they will play game 4 Tuesday night.
