CLEVELAND – Despite going 4-12 and now without a head coach, Cleveland Browns newly-minted Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon and left tackle Joe Thomas would be named to the NFL’s All-Pro team.
Gordon, the NFL’s leading receiver with 1,646 yards, caught 87 receptions and scored nine touchdowns, despite missing the first two games of the season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
For the season, Gordon had seven 100-yard receiving games—and an NFL-record 774-yard rampage in four games against Pittsburgh,Cincinnati, New England and Jacksonville.
The former Baylor product led the league in yards per catch(18.9) and yards per game (120.9). Thomas, a seven-year veteran out of Wisconsin, has not missed a snap since being taken third overall in the 2007 NFL Draft.
