The Cowboys keep winning close games, but today’s was one that can propel them through the rest of the season, the emotions are unfathomable and the Cowboys won. This game had all the trademarks that have driven Cowboys fans crazy, but with the close win the Cowboys are very much still in the wild card race. The Cowboys will need everything they have in them the rest of the season. The last three games are going to be tough, but we need to run the table because the Giants don’t appear to be giving up the division right now.
Last three games: Steelers, Saints, @Redskins
Just one loss in this stretch will likely end the playoff talk. At this point, I’m done predicting losses or wins by our ‘boys, we know the type of team we are and what type of games we’ve played, so it really is a one game at a time attitude for fans too. Can we beat the Steelers? We should, they are beat up and playing bad. Can we beat the Saints? We should, they aren’t that good this year. How bout the ‘Skins? The season could once again come down to the last game of the year, a win and you’re in, playoff type game. We’ll see.
No matter how this season ends, two things need to change for 2013: The offensive line must be fixed, and the defensive scheme needs to change to the 4-3. That’s atop my list of offseason changes.
