The Cowboys made their selection for the future when they selected Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame with the #34 pick in the 2nd round. Being a Notre Dame myself, this pick is exciting. I know there will be a lot to be said about this selection this high, but we’ll reap the reward on the player. Smith is an absolute beast.
The Cowboys had the ultimate inside track when the Cowboys team physician performed the surgery and knows the recovery path to get him on the field in 2017.
