A Czech Republic player at the World IIHF World Juniors used an unorthodox method to score a goal during Friday’s game against Russia.
Jachym Kondelik cut the two-goal deficit in half, using a body part that no one could have predicted. Czech Republic was on a power play in the second period of the game, when a shot came heading toward the net, with Kondelik attempting to move out of the way. Instead, the puck deflected off his face, and eventually fell into the net for a goal.

That odd goal ended up being the final tally in the game.
